Kiko Products Review

Hi Guys!

So I recently went to KIKO because I have heard about the huge sales which are going on right now (50%!). I bought two things and found out that the sales are only until the end of August. Because  KIKO is like 10 minutes walk from my home, I went back the next day and bought a few more things this time. I went for three Nail Polishes, two eyetech look eyshadows, one glitter eyeliner, a face make up fixer and six infinity eyeshadows. I also got an eyes clics 024 palette for free (6 infinity eyshadows= free palette). So here I am wanting to share my experiance with this products with you.

KIKO INFINITY EYESHADOWS

I am not much of a crazy girl so of course I went for the earth tones. I've bought 3 matt eyeshadows and 3 more metallic ones.

 The eyeshadows last the whole day long (I have only used them with a primer underneath) and I honestly thing they are  fantastic. They do look quite different on the eye than in the palette, but it doesn't change the fact that they are really good quality. The eyeshadow 214 which has a baige color is not as well pigmented as the other ones, but it's fine when applying more layers. I use it as a base or when I feel like not wearing a lot of makeup.  I tend to use the 239 to fill in my eyebrows. It looks khaki in the palette but it's light brown on the eye. The 240 goes in my creases and the other three metallic ones are being used as normal eyeshadows. I love that they don't have  big glitter particles. They are sparkling but not too much, what makes them great for everyday use. A little minus in the eyshadows is that they tend to crease when being applied with the fingers.

Here are the swatches. The first three ones are the matt eyeshadows. The 233,216 and 291 are a bit metallic.

KIKO FACE MAKE UP fixer

I am impressed by this little guy. I expected less to be honest. It smells a bit like hairspray and works pretty much the same. The smell is gone within a few seconds.  I just spray it all over my face in the morning and it takes nearly no time to set. It does work for me, I don't use a lot of make up and instead of using foundations I tend to go for the bb creams. It sets my bb cream, my under eye concealer and my powder  very well.

I have no words for this product. I first bought the 117 and went for the 105 the next day. This little guys are the best. I put them on without any primer and they last forever. My skin is more dry so I don't know if it would work the same way for other skin types but for those with dry skin: girl this is going to be your best friend. I find the aplication on the eye is a bit time taking compared to a regular eyeshadow, because you have to go in in the product a few times to achieve the wanted result. Still, it's a product you just put in the bag and you are ready to go, you can do your makeup on the run.

The colors have a pretty metallic shimmer so that's a good thing. The 105 is like a mix of red and violet and looks similar to the 233 from the infinity eyeshadows. I personally think that the eyetech eyeshadows are better pigmented than the infinity one's.

Because I loved all the KIKO products I have bought, you can probably imagine how dissapointed I must have been when this one has not worked out for me. The glitter eyeliner is very thin and I just could not on earth get the result I wanted to. It doesn't want to dry so you can't really put more layers on it to make it work somehow. Maybe it's just me but this product has definitely not worked out for me which is sad because the eyeliner has not been on sale and I had to pay the whole price for it (around 7Eu). Let me know if it has somehow worked for you, and if, than how.

Last but not least. This Nail polishes are my absolute favorite. ALL of the colors have not been dissapointing to me. I use them putting on a base coat first (O.P.I start to finish or INGLOT S-Bond treatment are my favorite for base and top coat) and a top coat afterwards. They stay on my nails forever. Propably not forever but you know what I mean. They last a really long time. I tend to change my nail color every 3 days or so but I'm pretty sure the nail polish would stay on a lot longer.

I think the colors are incredible. The 365 is great for everyday use and the 255 and 497 are really fancy and great when going out somewhere. One coat was just enough with the 365 and 497, the 255 needs two coats.The 497 is somehow more blue based than purple as I thought but its purple after two layers, so no worries. The nail polishes are easy to remove. They cost around 2 Eu (in the sale) and I think about getting some more colors before the sale ends.
